About This Dog for Adoption

Hudson's ideal home

2 years & 7 months old Rottweiler, Hudson, is looking for his forever home. He can live with children 14+ as he is a big and cheeky chap. Hudson would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He can be left for up to 4 hours at a time with leaving hours needing to be built up slowly when settling into his new home. He is looking for a family who can provide the exercise and love he deserves, and his potential family would need multiple visits to build a bond. A secure, private garden would be beneficial for this big lad to mooch around in due to being kept on lead when out and about.

Could you be Hudson's perfect match?

This lovely boy chews a treat calmly and is not fussy about what he has which is great for ongoing training. He is generally good on the lead and loves a sniff. Hudson needs to be muzzled when out and about and our training and behaviour team are always on hand to give you advice and guidance in these areas. He would make a lovely addition to any family with an understanding of his breed and size. This big guy needs a lot of love, patience and understanding to be the best Rottie he can be.

Rottweiler Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Rottweiler Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
