Description

King's ideal home

2yr and 5mth old King is a Rotti x and a really sweet boy , he is looking for a home with children 16+ and no young visiting children as he can be worried around new people. King must be the only pet in the home do in the home but can have calm walking buddies out and about. This lovely boy must be on a lead and muzzled at all times when out and about with the public so a private secure garden would be beneficial.
A good knowledge and previous experience with dogs who can be boisterous would be beneficial and his new family will need to commit to multiple meets here at our Centre to build a bond with King before he goes home. King can be a little worried in the vets but he is fully muzzled trained to help with this. Our Training and Behaviour Team are on hand to help with Kings settling in period in to a new home and answer any questions his new family have. King is on pain medication which will be ongoing, our vet team here at the centre are happy to answer any questions regarding this.

Could you be King's perfect match?

King had shown some signs of separation anxiety in his previous home so his leaving hours will need to be built up slowly. He is super clever and enjoys all aspects of training. This lad will make a great companion for his new family , takes treats gently and loves his food enrichment to keep him mentally stimulated. King loves to chase tennis balls and toys and is learning the swap game to trade toys and having a supply of cheese and hotdogs is always an advantage for his training needs. King is super funny and has oodles of personality , he can be a big excitable puppy with lots of love to give. Please click the 'Apply to Adopt' button to see if you are a suitable match.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
