Nessa's ideal home
Nessa is looking for a patient, quiet home that can keep her world to the home and garden as she slowly gains her confidence, eventually building up to quiet walks away from busy roads. Nessa has the potential to live with all other pets after careful introduction, including calmer dogs pending successful meets at the centre. Any males would need to be neutered. We advise that if Nessa is living with another dog, that she has a separate area for feeding as she can show low level resource guarding behaviour towards other dogs. Nessa would be best suited to a home where any children are sensible and of the ages 14 and up who are understanding that she is a nervous girl. Nessa will need her new family to be around most of the time with the view to build on this as she settles in. And her new home will need to be happy to introduce her to home life and new experiences gradually, with guidance from our behaviour team.

O what’s occurring? It’s Nessa, our darling 3 month old Rottweiler puppy, dreaming of her forever home. Nessa hasn’t had the best start to life and finds the world a little scary at the moment. She would love a patient family that can guide her in building her confidence so that she can flourish to be the girl we know she can be. Although timid at first, Nessa is showing typical puppy traits once warmed up, showering her handlers with affection and getting playful with her toys.
