About This Dog for Adoption

George's ideal home

Hello everyone, I’m George—a Mastiff x Rotti with the looks of a supermodel and the manners of a true gentleman. My days are filled with healthy living, long walks, and plenty of adventures by the beach and in the water. Whether it’s chasing the hosepipe or splashing in a paddling pool during summer, I’m always up for some fun.
Staying fit is important to me, so I enjoy off-lead runs in secure fields where I’ve made a few canine friends. I get along well with most dogs, though I can be a bit unsure around smaller, barky ones. My diet is top-notch: I love frozen veggies (especially watermelon and whole carrots),and natural treats like rabbit ears, buffalo skin, and chicken feet. A dollop of Greek yogurt with my meat and kibble is optional – yet I am accustomed to this way of living!

Could you be George's perfect match?

After a good meal, nothing beats a cozy snuggle. I thrive on affection and companionship, and I’m used to sharing my home with both humans and other dogs. I can keep myself entertained for a couple of hours if needed, but I appreciate a gentle introduction to alone time.
A frozen peanut butter kong is my go-to treat when I’m left alone. I’m house trained and will politely paw or whine at the door when I need to go out. Car trips are a breeze for me—I’m always excited for the walk that follows, I am used to travelling for a few hours at a time.
I know a few commands like sit, wait, and lie down, but my best skill is making people smile. I’m a lovable goof, ready to bring joy and laughter to my forever home.

It is with a great sadness that i need to rehome Ernie, he is 5yrs old, gentle and very loving, needs a loving home, ideally with no other pets as he needs to be the centre of attention, he thinks he is a lapdog despite being the size of a bear.  Reason for rehoming - my husband had open heart surgery recently and due to this i wont be able to give him the time he needs.
