About This Dog for Adoption
Betsy's ideal home
Meet Betsy, a gorgeous 2-year old Rottweiler looking for her forever home! Betsy is really friendly and playful with other dogs, so would be able to live with a resident dog pending a successful meet in the centre. Any children in the home will need to be 11yrs+ as she can be boisterous, but she's such a friendly, sweet angel!
Betsy will be looking for a home that is active and able to take her for the fun adventures she desires. She can pull on the lead and can be a little bit strong, so any potential adopters would need to be willing to work on this with her. She is walked on a harness and has no issues with any handling. She LOVES cuddles, and thinks she's a lap dog so any adopters would ideally be willing to make space for her on their sofa!
Betsy loves to explore new places, and is a very confident girl. She loves to play with her toys and a long-lasting chew that can keep her busy! On walks, Betsy is a big fan of any water that she can swim in, so you'll have to bring towels with you.
Betsy loves her food, however, she has shown some guarding behaviours in the past surrounding high value & food, so this would need to be managed and she would benefit from learning a 'swap & drop' for instances where you may want to take something away from her.
Betsy is such a gorgeous girl, who has bags of energy and potential to be a really fun adventure buddy!
Could you be Betsy's perfect match?
Betsy is a sweet young girl, who loves her people, cuddles and toys. She is an all-round dream girl and her forever family will be so lucky to have her! She would love to get out for adventures with her doggy pals, and fun play-time with her people.
Betsy would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time, as she can be anxious left on her own. This can be built up over time and she should be happy to be left for a few hours once settled.
She travels well in the car, and is really one for the Rottie lovers!!
