Freddie's ideal home

Freddie is looking for a home where he will have access to a private and secure garden where he can zoom around with his favourite toys. This off lead time will be especially important for Freddie as he will need to be kept on lead when out and about. He will need to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from a family willing to work on his doggy social skills. As Freddie has lived with cats previously, he does have the potential to live with them again when introduced carefully. This is the same for small furries as long as they are kept separate. Freddie can live with children of the ages 12 and up who don’t mind sharing their home with a big bouncy dog, although he will need to be walked by adults only. Freddie has previously been left for around 3 hours without issue, so does have the potential to do so again as long as this is built up slowly as he settles in.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
