Harriet

Harriet's ideal home

Harriet can live with a calm dog and children aged over ten. We have no history for her and cannot guarantee that she is house trained or used to spending time home alone.

Could you be Harriet's perfect match?

Sweet and gentle Harriet was rather a scaredy girl when she first arrived but we're watching her bloom and it's just wonderful to see. She's gone from walking with her tail tucked under to realising she's safe and surrounded by people who will care for her and she's really gaining confidence. We would advise that her adopters allow her the same space and time to settle as we have and she will quickly come around. Harriet is great with other dogs and wasn't even fazed when she bumped into six Greyhounds at the same time! We're more than happy to rehome her with another dog, we think she'd really enjoy it. Harriet has a lot of love for people too and is really snuggly when she's familiar with you. She's such a wonderful dog who is going to make someone very happy. She loves to play and will entertain herself throwing her toys around, and we've even seen her taking teddies to bed!

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
