About This Dog for Adoption

Buster's ideal home

Big beautiful Buster is ready to find his paw-fect home. This handsome boy has been in a home for most of his life where he was housetrained and happy to be left for a few hours, however we recommend this is built back up once he's settled into his forever home. Buster is looking for a family with a keen interest in training as he really loves to learn. His ideal home would be somewhere peaceful with access to quiet walks and away from busy roads. Buster could live with teenagers of 16+ who can understand when he may need time on his own. He loves nothing more than zooming around the runs here and playing fetch with a tennis ball. Buster can be a bit worried meeting new people, but with a few tasty treats he's soon your friend. Buster does need to be the only pet in his forever home, where he can work on his socialisation. He seems to prefer socialising with smaller dogs and needs to gain some confidence as he can become worried and vocal when meeting dogs he's scared of. Buster is a sweet lad, with a sensitive side so needs patient and understanding adopters who can help guide him in the big wide world.

Could you be Buster's perfect match?

Buster's new family will need to be committed to meeting him a few times and be able to get involved in all his training here at the centre. He's a sweet lad who just needs a helping hand to find his paws.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Rottweiler Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
