About This Dog for Adoption

Lola's ideal home

This gorgeous girl is Lola! She's searching for her forever family with patient owners who are able to take some time getting to know her. She's able to live with children of secondary school age and could share her home with another dog pending a successful meet. Lola will need to have a safe space within the home, where she can chill out when visitors are over. She can pull a little on the lead, so owners who have had experience of this would be perfect for her! Lola has a very good appetite, but she does need to lose some weight, and therefore her adopters will need to be dedicated to getting her to a healthy weight. She will be a lovely addition to the home.

Could you be Lola's perfect match?

Lola is a sweet but sensitive 4 year old Rottweiler. She takes a little while to win her over, but once she's your friend you will have a loyal companion, who loves having a fuss and is super affectionate. She's happy to interact with most other dogs, but more active or intense dogs can be a little too much for her taste. She's a really sweet funny personality who can't wait to meet her special someone.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Rottweiler Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
