About This Dog for Adoption

Lucy's ideal home

Lucy is a sensitive girl who is going to make a loyal companion once she's had time to find her paws. As she is a little bit of a worried lady Lucy is looking for an adult-only home. She would also like to be the only dog in the home for the moment but she does seem to like other dogs. Walking friends would be welcomed, and she just needs the chance to build up her social skills. Unfortunately Lucy isn't able to live with cats. Lucy does currently have cherry eye but is already booked in to have this sorted out with our vet team.

Could you be Lucy's perfect match?

Lucy is a 2 year old Rottweiler who has ended up in our care through no fault of her own. We don't know much about her past so she will benefit from an introduction to the basics. However she does really try to keep her kennel clean so housetraining should just need a quick refresher. Lucy will also jump into the car, so although we're not sure what she's like travelling we think she might be quite keen to try! Left alone time is best built up gradually but she should be ok for an hour or two. Lucy loves her food and loves her toys so there are plenty of ways to reward her and to help her settle in.
