About This Dog for Adoption

Mr Tubbs's ideal home

Mr Tubbs is a wonderful boy who is people and play. He can live with children of around primary school age as long as they’re happy around a larger dog. Mr Tubbs does not like sharing his toys with other dogs and so must be the only dog in the home. While we have no history of him being around cats he does have potential to live with them, pending a successful scent swap. This would be in a home where they can be introduced gradually, keeping them separate to begin with.

Could you be Mr Tubbs's perfect match?

At 6 years old Mr Tubbs was found as a stray. We have little information about his past but he’s remained fully housetrained in our care and is happy to jump into a car. Mr Tubbs really enjoys fuss and his wiggles are the best! He can be a bit vocal when left so would appreciate a family who can build up time left alone from scratch. Mr Tubbs is good on his walks and is going to be a brilliant addition to a family.

Dogs Trust Adoption Process

Thinking of adopting through Dogs Trust? Here's what to expect before you start your application.

  • Register your interest in adoption on the Dogs Trust website - you can't apply for specific dogs directly.
  • Create an account to favourite dogs you're interested in and help the team understand your preferences.
  • Dogs Trust will match you with dogs that fit your lifestyle and home environment.
  • Some dogs listed here may already be rehomed or reserved, as updates can take time to sync.
  • If matched, you'll go through their adoption and home-check process before taking your new dog home.
