About This Dog

Kobi's ideal home

Kobi is a bright, enthusiastic young dog who would truly flourish in a moderate to active home. He loves to play, enjoys interacting with people, and is always keen to explore new environments. Confident and social by nature, he’d be a fantastic match for a household that has the time and enthusiasm for training, exercise, and fun enrichment activities.
As a big, lively youngster, Kobi brings plenty of joyful energy to every introduction. Because he can be excitable and may jump up when meeting new people, he’ll be happiest in a home with secondary‑school‑aged children. He is very friendly, but his size and enthusiasm could feel a bit much for younger children who haven’t had much experience with dogs.
Kobi will benefit from having a private, secure garden where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some off‑lead time without encountering other dogs. His new family should be excited to continue his training, especially around managing his enthusiasm, supporting positive dog‑to‑dog interactions, and helping him develop loose‑lead walking skills. They’ll also need to be comfortable handling a strong, energetic dog who may become animated or pull when he spots other dogs.
Kobi is looking for a loving home where he can be the only dog and soak up all the attention.

Could you be Kobi's perfect match?

Kobi is a wonderful one‑year‑old Boxer, Rottweiler cross who has joined us through our Homestay scheme following a change in his owner’s circumstances.
Kobi is a big, affectionate softie who absolutely loves people. He’s friendly and social with everyone he meets, and his enthusiasm may lead to an excited jump or two! He adores toys and playtime, and he’s just as happy leaning in for cuddles and fuss — he’s a very loving companion.
He already has some great skills: Kobi is housetrained, crate‑trained, and settles nicely when left, especially with some enrichment to keep him entertained.
Kobi also hops willingly into the car and travels well in the boot. While journeys aren’t his favourite thing, he manages them calmly and sensibly.
