Ruth's ideal home

Ruth is on the search for her forever home with an active family who can take her on their adventures. She is looking to be the only dog in the home as she has shown some resource guarding behaviours. She would love to have walking friends when out on her walks to continue her socialisation. Ruth needs a private and secure garden to enjoy with her family and burn off her energy. At times she can get bored and frustrated so she would benefit from a family who can teach her new skills and keep her mentally stimulated. Ruth is currently on a weight loss journey and she would like to continue this in her forever home. She can live with secondary school aged children and would benefit from a family who have experience with the breed/large dogs. She would like her family to be around for most of the time to help her settle in before leaving hours are built up.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
