Description

Roxy's ideal home

Roxy is looking for a home with a fun family who will provide her with all the love and adventures she deserves, she would be able to live alongside children aged 14 years and over who are confident with larger dogs as she is a bit clumsy when playing and doesn’t realise her size and can be a little anxious at times! Roxy can be a little uncomfortable around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, although she could have calm and polite walking buddies. Roxy has had some training and knows “Sit, Touch, Down and Stay”, she is very smart and willing to learn more for a tasty treat, she will need a refresher on her house training so her own private, secure garden is needed. Roxy may be able to be left alone for up to 2 hours once settled in but this should be introduced slowly once she has had time to get used to her new home and routine and would ideally be after a walk so she can relax and have a long snooze! Roxy will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Roxy's perfect match?

Beautiful and Bouncy Roxy is a 7 year old Rottweiler who loves cuddles and playing with her favourite humans. She enjoys a cuddle and a stroke and will happily try to get on your lap for more. Roxy loves to play with toys, either with you or independently, tennis balls are her absolute favourites! Roxy is a super clever and playful girl who will complete her new family wonderfully.

Rottweiler Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Rottweiler.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
